This event is in aid of The Police Arboretum Memorial Trust. To be officiated by a SRUSR team of 3 and with our own disciplinary officer playing as well (hopefully he will stick to the laws of the game!).
The Police Arboretum Memorial Trust is a registered charity is in the final stages of an ambitious campaign to raise at least £4 million to design, build and maintain a new UK Police Memorial, at the National Memorial Arboretum.
Situated in Staffordshire, on the edge of the National Forest, the Arboretum is the UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance for Military, Police who have fallen while on duty, as well as areas devoted to the Fire and Rescue and Ambulance services.
In 2019, members of the Policing family have sadly been lost under tragic circumstances, affecting many people locally and nationally. It is their goal to help continue to honour the memory of all those no longer with us, and support all those who give so much in their service.
It is a source of great local pride for Staffordshire to be the host to the National Memorial Arboretum and we are proud to be devoted supporters of everything it represents.
We look forward to seeing as many members and others there as possible on Friday, 15th of November 2019 for a 7.30 pm kickoff.
